1. What time is the ceremony/reception?
The ceremony will be at 4:00pm, but please arrive by 3:45pm. A dinner reception will follow at 6:00pm.
3. What should I expect after the ceremony?
Once the ceremony has concluded, there will be a cocktail hour with light snacks and drinks. After this, there will be a buffet dinner followed by dancing.
5. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
While we have no strict dress code for our event, if you are looking for some inspiration, check out "garden formal" on Pinterest. Please just keep in mind that the ceremony will be in the woods when choosing your footwear!
7. Where should I stay?
The closest hotel is the Forest Golf and Inn, which is only a five-minute drive from the venue (https://golfnorth.ca/forest). There are also several Airbnb's within a few minutes drive.
9. Will you be serving alcohol?
We will be serving alcohol at cocktail hour and dinner. We have opted to give each guest a set number of drink tickets and any additional drinks will be a cash bar.
11. Can I bring a plus one? Will there be kids?
As we have a limited budget and space, we must request that only those addressed on the invitation attend our wedding.
2. Will the wedding be outdoors?
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, but the reception will be indoors (in an air-conditioned building).
4. How should I get there? Is there parking?
There is ample parking for all guests on the premises if you would like to drive. There is also a local taxi company, Blu Light Taxi Company (226-349-6772) that you can use to get to and from any local accommodations. PLEASE NOTE THAT UBER DOES NOT SERVICE THE AREA.
6. When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by July 1st, 2025 so that we can make sure to save a seat for you!
8. What type of food and drink will be served at cocktail hour and at the reception?
Cocktail hour will have light snacks and drinks, and we will be serving dinner buffet style. If you have any dietary restrictions or concerns about the food, please make note of that when you RSVP so we can accommodate you!
10. Can I take pictures of the wedding and post them on social media?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so please refrain from taking any pictures during that time. Other than that, feel free to snap pictures and post them online! Please just be courteous of other guests who may not want to appear in your photos.
